This is where it all began. Well, actually, it all began in 1975 in a much smaller facility on Burnside Avenue in Sioux Falls. But the idea behind what J&L Harley-Davidson would become started right here with the Entenman family.
Today, Jim and Lonnie Entenman oversee the family-held operation in a spacious, beautiful building, conveniently located near the intersection of I-29 and I-90. The dealership offers an expanded Harley-Davidson®, a Preowned and Buell showroom, a large parts and accessories display area, an expansive MotorClothes® Merchandise and collectibles area and a service facility with capacity for eight technicians working two benches each. The service department also has a drive-in write-up area and a dynamometer.
J&L also has plenty of room to stretch out, with a paved lot behind their facility used to conduct Rider’s Edge® Safety Courses. When it comes to pit stops for road-weary riders, you’ll find a grassy picnic area complete with restrooms, picnic tables, concession area and a band shelter. In the summer, you can enjoy a soda and a brat every Saturday afternoon at our Snack Shack.
And if you’re looking for entertainment, join us in July when J&L Harley-Davidson hosts Hot Harley Nights hotharleynights.com. This benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of South Dakota has grown into one of the premier draws for riders across the region. Every year, this event just gets hotter with over a million dollars raised.
